United States is at a point where we can't trust on one another and there has been great amount of shootings in the United States educational systems such as the Virginia Tech shooting where a college student went into a classroom and killed 32 people and injured 17; where a young adult went into the Sandy Hook elementary school and killed 20 children and 6 adult staff members. At times people question the gun control violation, however there will always be these incidents unless they could be foreseen and stopped before the shooting starts. The predator drone is useful tool in order to make that happen. "A Predator drone was summoned into action last year to spy on a North Dakota farmer who allegedly refused to return a half dozen of his neighbor's cows that had strayed onto his pastures." (Dvorak, 2012) Making the predator drone available to local police department make it easier for the police department's to do their job either for locating the perpetrator or locating where the robbers are going after they stole the store's money. However, they are also very expensive and it could be impossible for some local departments to afford the predator drone and those who have the insufficient funds will increase amount of crimes because they could not afford the predator drone."Department of Homeland Security recently began distributing $4 million in grants to help local law enforcement buy its own, smaller versions of drones, opening a new market for politically connected drone makers as the wars overseas shrink." (Dvorak, 2012) The grants that are being handed out by the Department of Homeland Security could possibly diminish the number of crimes in an area, prevent any further school shootings, and create a safer community in an area.
